Swim With The Dolphins - We are pleased to be
able to offer the best Last Minute Booking price in the Bay for swimming
with the dolphins. This all-day trip will allow you to experience swimming
with the dolphins from a DOC approved boat. As it is a last minute deal, we
will text you if the boat is full, most of the time space is available and
you will get on at the special rates we have negotiated. You will be given a
special card to show when boarding.
MOTITI ISLAND ESCAPE DAY TRIP - For
non-divers, we take you out to a fantastic island and drop you off to
explore whilst we take any divers out to do their dives. You can also have a
swim/snorkel, we supply the snorkel gear included in the price. Runs over
the summer period only. Non-Divers are welcome. Bring your own lunch,
drinks, sunscreen, hat. We pick you up at the
Pilot Bay boat ramp end (next to The Mount). Normally trip leaves around
9.30 am or 1am (depending on whether we have divers on-board or not). We normally return around 4 - 4.30pm.
ISLAND ESCAPE (MAYOR OR MOTITI) OVER-NIGHT TRIP - Fantastic
social experience, we go out to one of two islands Mayor or Motiti. If you
choose the sailing CAT trip you can sleep on-board. One of the islands has
lodge accommodation, you stay overnight
on the island if you go on the "ScoobyDoo" boat. If you don't dive, you can
fish or snorkel or wakeboard, we supply an evening BBQ, BYO wine/beer,
tent). This is a fantastic overnight trip that you will never forget. Runs
over the summer period only. Non-Divers welcome. The price given is
"From", a final price will be quoted once we know your group size and what
activities your group wants to do). You must book a few days in advance.

SCUBA TASTER
Scuba-Taster course is run continuously during the summer and includes 1
confined water training dive and 1 open water dive + viewing of PADI O/W
DVD and training by PADI Instructor, this course will count towards your
PADI O/W certification and you can deduct the scuba-taster costs from the
PADI O/W fees.. We also offer an
option to complete your PADI O/W course in stages at all the best NZ dive
locations via our dive network. If you have not dived for 6 months or more
we recommend you do a scuba-refresher. Schedule and meeting point will be
confirmed at time of booking and is dependant on instructor availability and
minimum numbers (2 people).
BOP FUN DIVE
We meet you at Pilot Bay Boat Ramp (normally around 8.00-8.15am).
Please bring with you some lunch, drink, sun-screen and a warm fleece if the
wind gets up. For certified divers (please bring your log book), we take you
out to the best dive spots in the Bay of Plenty. You can either dive with
your buddy or request to dive with another certified diver. BOP offers
fantastic diving and close to land. We have Karewa Isl, Motiti Isl, Plate Isl (famous for crayfish).
If we are supplying all gear, we will normally do a gear up the night
before. If we are just supplying part dive gear, e.g. tanks weights, BCD/REGS
we can do this when you arrive at the Sulphur Point Boat Ramp 8am sharp.
WHITE ISLAND FUN DIVE - White Island is an active volcano over 20Km from the coast. The
diving is absolutely superb and we offer a sail CAT 2 day, 2 night trip (conditions
permitting) down to this island from Tauranga. We pick you up from where you
are staying, gear you up and then board the sailing boat. We take
a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12, we recommend you pre-book. We reserve the right to
cancel trips if conditions are not good enough. You sleep on-board the
CAT (sheets provided), we provide an evening meal for both nights and a breakfast.
BASIC PADI O/W
Course subject to demand take 3/4 days to complete,
the study part of the course includes all course materials and dive table,
the confined and open water dives are done in the mornings or afternoons
(min 2 people to start a course). If you have done Scubataster we deduct
those costs from the PADI O/W fees. The only extra cost is the certification
card from PADI which we apply for on your successful completion of the O/W
course. We can do this course part-time evenings or weekends. Minimum
numbers apply. Register for the course here first and we will email you back
dates of when the next course starts. Just pay a small deposit of $50, the
rest can be paid when you start the course.
Other PADI Courses can start in accordance with demand and instructor availability, speciality
courses such as wreck, night etc normally take 2 days. Adventure dives can
count towards speciality course rating and include the services of a PADI
Instructor.
