Morning or Evening Fishing Trip Bay of  Plenty (Tauranga)

Thank you for considering booking a fishing trip with nztramp. Our stable, dual-engine CAT boat "ScoobyDoo" is ideal for fishing trips, complete with GPS and fish-finder/ depth finder allows us to quickly locate the best spots for fishing. You can either bring your own rod and bait or we can rent out our own fishing gear/bait to you. Our standard fishing trips go out from Pilot Bay boat ramp (The Mount End) where we meet you (please be there 10 mins before departure, please bring with you warm clothing, lunch, something to drink and rod/bait and knife (if you are supplying), you may also bring your own standard size chilly bin with ICE for fish storage. If you are hiring our fishing gear, we supply one large bin for fish storage and a knife for cutting up the bait. On board we also have the catch size limits and a means for measuring fish.

For TDC card holders who have purchased a $40 unlimited activities discount card, you will receive the stated discount price.  Pay by cash before you board the boat. If you pre-book your credit card details will be requested up-front, at the time of booking. If you reside here you may pay by internet bank transfer.

Our morning (7am start) or evening (5pm start, time may vary by +/- 30 mins) fishing trips give approx 2 hours fishing depending on a number of factors, including weather/sea conditions, temperature and tide/fish biting etc. Generally if  the fish are biting and everyone is having a good time we may stay out longer. We reserve the right to transfer morning to evening trips or visa versa to make numbers up.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Refunds can only be given where we cancel a trip due to weather, a final decision is made on the day. Any group booking deposit paid is not refundable unless we cancel your trip. We reserve the right to charge the full trip price or quoted price amount against your credit card if you do not show up. We cannot guarantee a return time from fishing or a minimum time out fishing. if conditions deteriorate we may have to return early. If you loose or damage fishing gear on hire from us, we reserve the right to charge you for repair or replacement at cost to us. This includes broken/lost rods, reels, lost line/hooks/weights, please look after gear on hire from us.  We accept TDC discount cards covering tours/activities.  If you do not have a TDC card we will offer to sell you an unlimited discount card if you wish to claim a discount. The TDC card is valid for 12 months from date of issue. If you have a valid Flexme discount voucher or a GIFT voucher, you can use it on any trip that has existing fee paying customers already booked to go and spare spaces are available.
