Our summer travel network is designed for divers, educated professionals and those who want to have a combined tour/travel and activity experience. .. so get a group together and join us for the KIWI trip of your life.

Tramp Travel network promises a different experience than the big bus operators provide, our small group vehicles are equipped with the latest technology - DVD movies on a flat panel screen that every passenger can see. We can even offer free broadband internet access on-the-move if you have a laptop with wireless network card.

To ensure your place, you must book ahead preferably minimum 1-2 weeks. Your group size is limited to 6 people and a minimum of 2 people. We need 4 people minimum to do one of our tours (see travel map). All payments must be made either in cash, via credit card or on-line bank transfer before you start travelling. You can bring one small backpack or hand luggage free, if you have your own dive gear please let us know.

We can do pick-ups from Auckland only. The charge for travel from Auckland to Tauranga is $49 per person one way.

An evening BBQ is included in the price. Accommodation is extra, although we can supply a tent FOC for when we stay at remote places. The cost of diving must be added to the prices given. We generally stay at backpackers, although you can opt to camp out under the stars (or stay in a tent), bring your own sleeping bag.

Your travel must also include booking diving or learn to dive (book nztramp diving here), we may use third party dive operators whose prices may vary from our own.

Leave your cares behind... travel with tramp and you can STRAY a lot further, have a real KIWI EXPERIENCE (slapper-packers not welcome here) and end-up feeling absolutely MAGIC without feeling your old or a bit strange.

Tramp Travel Booking Terms & Conditions

Refunds can only be given where we cancel a trip due to weather, insufficient numbers or other factors beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for any delays in the unlikely event our vehicle breaks down en-route.. We cannot be held liable for any customer property lost, damaged or stolen from our vehicles. If you loose, damage any dive gear on loan to you, we reserve the right to charge you for its replacement at cost to us. Due to storage space limitations our trailer takes all the dive gear, we limit customers to one backpack. Any group booking deposit paid is not refundable and the full-amount owing must be paid before the trip departs. No refunds are given if you cancel your travel before departure.
